Who operates this site

This website at oasena.com is the website for a privately owned residence on Singer Island, Florida. It is built and operated by Cavmir, a marketing agency for luxury vacation rentals, on behalf of the residence's owner. For the purposes of data protection law, Cavmir is the controller of any personal data processed through this site. Contact: privacy@cavmir.com.

What this site collects

Very little, and nothing that names you.

  • Analytics, only if you accept. On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. If you accept, the site loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-ZCJDGZRZ0P), which records the pages you view, how you reached the site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or country, worked out from your IP address; Google Analytics does not store the IP address itself). It sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_* so a returning browser is counted once. If you decline, or never answer the banner, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
  • No advertising or tracking beyond that. There is no advertising pixel, no remarketing, no session replay, no fingerprinting and no third-party embed, and Google Analytics runs with Google signals and ad personalisation turned off. Fonts, images, video and the site's own scripts are served from this site's own hosting.
  • No forms. The site does not ask for, receive or store your name, email address, phone number or any other personal information. Reservations are made on Airbnb, not here.
  • Two on-device settings. If you switch the site's animation between Full and Calm, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key rxii-motion so it holds on your next visit. Your answer to the analytics banner is saved the same way, under the key oasena-consent, so the banner does not ask again. Neither setting is sent to us, and both are removed when you clear your browser's site data, which also brings the banner back. Browsers that block storage simply use the defaults.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, a product of Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA), which acts as our processor for hosting. To deliver the pages securely, Cloudflare's infrastructure processes standard connection data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and may keep short-lived logs for security and reliability. We do not receive or review these logs. Cloudflare's own privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy describes its processing and retention. Cloudflare participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and offers standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EU, UK and Switzerland.

Google Analytics

If you accept analytics, Google LLC (Mountain View, USA) processes the data described above for us through Google Analytics 4, under Google's data processing terms. We use it only to see which pages visitors use so we can improve the site, not for advertising. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and its privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. You can change your answer at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. Google also offers a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on every site, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

The Check availability buttons and other reservation links open the residence's listing on Airbnb, where Airbnb's privacy policy applies. Links to cavmir.com open Cavmir's own website, which has its own privacy policy. Links in the island guides to museums, parks, organisers and other businesses open those organisations' websites, each governed by its own policy. This site does not share anything with them, because it holds nothing to share.

Retention

Google Analytics keeps this site's analytics data for up to 14 months and then deletes it automatically. We keep no other personal data from this site, because we collect none. The animation and banner settings live in your browser, under your control, for as long as you keep them. Any logs held by Cloudflare are kept under Cloudflare's retention schedule, not ours.

Your rights

The only personal data this site handles is the analytics data described above, and only if you accept it. Your rights over it are these.

  • European Union, EEA and United Kingdom (GDPR and UK GDPR): you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Our legal basis for serving the pages you request is our legitimate interest in operating the site; our legal basis for analytics is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the rights to know, delete, correct and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information; you may still write to us.
  • Brazil (LGPD): you have the rights of confirmation, access, correction, anonymisation, deletion, portability and information about sharing, the right to withdraw consent, and the right to petition the ANPD. The encarregado for this website can be reached at the address below.
  • Other jurisdictions: write to us and we will respond under the law that applies to you.

To exercise any right, email privacy@cavmir.com. We respond within thirty days, or sooner where the law requires.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with HTTP Strict Transport Security, a content security policy that allows only this site's own assets plus Google Analytics (which loads only after you accept it), and headers that prevent framing and content-type sniffing. There is no user database and no login.

If the site adds features

The site may add features it does not have today, such as an enquiry form or a direct booking engine. If it does, this policy will be updated to describe them and to name each processor, and any new processing will be examined against GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and LGPD before it goes live.
